After researching and disecting each of the spaces or elements given to us for our "programming document" we decided to lay out our visual information in a simple and easy to read way. Using materials found around the studio, we documented our findings and learned more about how each of us interpreted this exercise. Our information came in the form of qotes, calculations, diagrams, and even sketches.
Some important and beneficial findings:
+CIRCULATION
"We experience space in relation to where we've been and where we anticipate going" F.K. Ching
+ENTRY
"The form of the entrance can be similiar to and serve as a preview of the form of the space being entered. Or it can CONTRAST with the form of the space to reinforce its bounderies and emphasize its character as a value" F.K.Ching
